Bryan Hulbert – LONGDALE, Okla. (May 10, 2021) Another Terry Mattox Promotion is set to go full throttle this Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15, as the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products takes on Longdale Speedway and the Walleye Rodeo Roundup.
Named after the Canton Lake Walleye Rodeo, which takes place the same weekend, the weekend offers teams a pair of $2,000 to win, $300 to start A-Features and features USRA Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and USRA Tuners.
A ride a lot wilder than eight seconds, admission per night is $20 with kids 10 and under free into the Grandstands. Pits are $35 per night. Friday, May 14 opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. Saturday, May 15 opens at 4:00 P.M. with cars taking the green at 7:00 P.M. (CDT).
Padding his lead in the 2021 tour standings at Creek County Speedway on April 30, the Oklahoma City shoe holds a 104-point advantage going into the weekend over Jeremy Campbell. Third, currently belongs to Brandon Anderson, with Kyle Clark and Sean McClelland making up the top five.
