Saturday September 14th saw points battles play out in all five divisions at Longdale Speedway. Champions were crowned and the battle is over. Damon Seiger of Hennessy OK claimed title of Pure Stock Champion piloting his black and white #23 to the win along with securing the championship. A fan favorite Leon Ramirez steered his #78 Ramirez Motorsports Intermediate sport mod to a championship win as well. In the IMCA Stock Car division #52t Travis Baird came away with the Win and the Championship! Joe Adams was all smiles after battling his way up through the field to stay within sight of Mike Roach and secure the IMCA Sport Mod Championship over 33R Roach by a mere ONE point! The modified division was full of action as points leader #08 Hunter Mcdonald fell out of the race early with a Mechanical and appeared to lose the championship but luck was on his side as his pursuer #11 Dustin Allen fell victim to disaster and was also a dnf which put Mcdonald back on top by a mere TWO points! The points season is over but the racing is not.
