Longdale OK - Shawn Brassfield of Brassmonkey Promotions LLC hired as General Manager/Promoter for Longdale Speedway.
Longdale Speedway is excited to announce that Shawn Brassfield will be General Manager/Promoter for the beautiful 3/8-mile dirt track in Longdale Oklahoma for the 2019 season! Shawn’s background in all things racing, combined with the top-level amenities Longdale Speedway offers will provide an amazing year of auto racing entertainment to the State of Oklahoma and surrounding states in 2019.
Shawn is a lifelong fan, competitor, and supporter of dirt oval track racing. He spent 20+ years competitively circling dirt tracks throughout the south-central part of the country and still enjoys occasional car racing, motocross, and cross-country motorcycle activities. Most recently, his experience promoting professional level Flat Track motorcycle racing at Remington Park in OKC, has increased his desire to expand into entertainment and auto racing promotion. “The opportunity to take the helm of any speedway is one thing, but Longdale Speedway is an amazing facility with an amazing race track! I’m extremely excited for this opportunity and look forward to being a part of a great team to help invigorate auto racing in Oklahoma and beyond” said Brassfield of the opportunity.
Longdale Speedway is a top of the line 3/8-mile semi-banked dark clay oval dirt track located ¼ mile South of Longdale, OK off of Hwy 58. It is positioned perfectly between Enid (58 miles), Woodward (60 miles), Clinton (58 miles), Kingfisher (54 miles), and is approximately 90 miles north-west of OKC. The track offers television quality Musco lighting, electronic scoring, improved parking and more. Fans will love all the amenities Longdale Speedway has to offer, as well as some of the most exciting and competitive car racing the State of Oklahoma.
